so i spent a while last night making a spreadsheet for all my courses. it was kind of insane. the first page has the semesters listed across the top and then the classes i plan on taking. easy enough. then the second page is basically a copy pasta of this (warning, pdf), which is a list of all the requirements for my major at gcc. THEN i filled out every class i was taking (like under the history section, i have US history 1, world civ 2, and western tradition 2), how many credits the class is worth, and how many i actually have. then for each heading, i have how many credits that subject requires (ex: i need 9 history credits) and the box next to that says is an auto sum of how many i've earned, then the box next to THAT will say "met" once i have all the credits, and until then it says "not met".

after that i went through and made sure all of my classes will transfer to brockport and i wrote down what they transfer as. child psych, which is PSY 102 at gcc, transfers as a 300 level psych class. wtf? then i made another sheet, exactly the same, except with all the classes i need to take at brockport. MY BRAIN, OMG WHY DID I DO THIS. ugh.

in other news, gcc cancelled all classes after 4pm yesterday and FAILED TO TELL ANYONE. it was on the website and THAT WAS IT. i didn't get an email, IT WASN'T ON THE NEWS, and a bunch of my stuff got locked in the scene shop since the guy that works there left as soon as they made the decision. he usually stays like an hour later than he did, if not more. thankfully maryanne, the director/acting prof, was still in her office and had a key. i was NOT happy though, i rushed through a bunch of reading for a class that ended up being cancelled and could've gone home almost an hour before i actually did. argh. wtf kind of school cancels classes but doesn't tell anyone? i mean i got an email from my moi, my ceramics teacher, but the school didn't send out any information to anyone, other than updating the website. wtffff.

so classes started wednesday! i'm taking developmental psych, american history 1 (colonial-civil war), stagecraft (building sets and shit), and ceramics. i managed to be late to both psych and history, the former because i was stuck behind someone doing 40 in a 55, and the latter because i was busy building brackets for the headsets in the theater. my classes seem fun though. i'm not super excited about psych, but ceramics and stagecraft will be fun, since i'll be making stuff a lot, and my history prof is pretty awesome. we have to write a paper later comparing two sections of society in the 19th century; i'm really looking forward to writing that. i'll probably use irish immigrants and like the mob or something, haha.

i've also started rereading the first harry potter book, in anticipation of reading the whole thing in spanish. i already went and ordered it through the interlibrary loan, so hopefully it'll be here before i finish the english version, though at the current rate, i'll have it finished by saturday night. i read too much, haha.

for ceramics, we need to make a little creature, using two hollow halves, and then we have to add limbs and stuff, so i've decided to use one of my creatures from spore! i can't decide which one, though. these are all the creatures i've made, but i just can't pick! i was thinking of either doing jakava or qixitar, but i'm not sure. i don't have ceramics until next wednesday, though, so i've got time to decide.

anyways, i should probably get to bed. i need to leave my house no later than 9:30, and i've been aiming to be up before 9, so i have time to straighten my hair and pick out something cute to wear and actually bother with more than just eyeliner and mascara. althouuuuugh i'm awfully hungry, haha. i think i'm gonna go grab something to eat before bed, but then i'm off to read harry potter!

so as i mentioned before, i'm a member of mission101_2009 and one of my goals is to update my lj once a week. i figured i might as well update about how i'm doing on my list.

i'm doing pretty well on #11, i've read two books so far and started a third yesterday. if i keep at that rate, i should be able to read 200 books by the end of this, instead of 150! so that's cool. so far i've got a list of 24 books i want to read but don't own, plus i need to finish all the books i got for christmas and i also plan on reading at least the first harry potter book in spanish, so that's 28. out of 150. haha, i'm gonna need to work on a bigger list of books if i'm gonna finish this, especially since my goal says "150 NEW books". which means that my goal of reading harry potter in order can't count for this. woohoo!

i'm also doing really well on brushing my teeth and using mouthwash (#32). so far i've only been doing it once a day, since i can't figure out a good time to do it during the day since i tend to graze and therefore am always eating. my teeth look loads whiter too, it's awesome. i've been flossing too, even though that's not actually on my list but it seemed like a good idea, plus now my teeth barely bleed when i brush them, lol. they use to bleed like mad!

i'm not doing very well on pretty much the rest of them. i've been getting between 40 and 60 ounces of water a day, but i'm really aiming for 60 every day. i'm also supposed to be eating at least one fruit per day, and taking calcium every day, cause depo supposedly leeches calcium from your bones and i've been on it for over a year, so i really should take calcium. i haven't done a single thing under the appearance category, and same for the financial. for the educational one, i've signed up for public speaking during the summer, so i guess that's something. i've also been updating here once a week like i'm supposed to, but a lot of my goals are so far completely untouched. i should probably start working on some of them, haha.

anyways, classes start on the 21st for me and i'm still in the habit of staying up all night, mostly due to the fact that i generally have people to talk to all night. howeverrrrr i should probably get to bed, haha. i usually read whatever book i'm reading for at least half an hour, usually more, so i won't get to sleep until 7 at the latest. woohoo. oh well, i have vodka if i think it'll help me sleep, haha.
